City Council Meeting April 27th, 2010
The Fifth Street Corridor project returned to the City Council on Tuesday, April 27. The Council approved the project description for the purpose of initiating environmental review. The Council also directed staff to consult with the Bicycle Advisory Commission, the Safety and Parking Advisory Commission, neighborhood interests, bicycle advocacy groups, and business interests on evaluation metrics to assess the performance of the project after implementation. City Council Meeting September 8th, 2009
At the September 8, 2009 meeting, the City Council voted 5-0 to adopt a resolution in support of implementing a "road diet" on the Fifth Street Corridor.
