CCE Spot Run!

April 22 this year marks the 47th anniversary of the first Earth Day!  In celebration of this occasion, please join us for a series of environmental classes that promise to be nothing short of literary masterpieces (or at least educational and entertaining). All classes will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Center in the Game Room, and will run 1 to 1 ½ hours in length.

April 5: CCE Spot Run!

The City is looking at Community Choice Energy (CCE) as a practical way (without forming a public utility) to localize energy decisions, deliver cleaner electricity at competitive rates, and give consumers more choices about the price of their electricity and how it’s produced.  Join Sustainability Manager Mitch Sears to learn about CCE and participate in this Q&A focused presentation.

Davis residents who attend a class can enter to win prizes, including reusable shopping bags, food scrap collection pails, waterless car wash kits and worm castings. For more information or to register, please contact the Public Works Department at (530) 757-5686 or
