Community Invited to Fourteenth Street / Villanova Drive Improvements Open House on Tuesday June 26
The City of Davis Public Works Department invites the community to attend an Open House for the Fourteenth Street / Villanova Drive Improvements project. The City has developed design concepts with consulting firm Alta Planning + Design for resurfacing of, and complete streets improvements on Fourteenth Street / Villanova Drive between F Street and Sycamore Lane. This project is funded in part by a $992,000 grant from the Sacramento Area Council of Governments in 2015.
At the Open House, guests can contribute to input received from the 2013 Safe Routes to School outreach process and recent focus group discussions for this corridor. These informed the development of two design concepts that will be presented for which we invite community input.
This Open House will provide information on project history, existing conditions, and two design concepts. It is scheduled for Tuesday June 26, 2018 from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Library Children’s Activity Room at 315 E. Fourteenth Street.
After the Open House, the design concepts will be reviewed by the Bicycling, Transportation, and Street Safety Commission on July 12, 2018, after which final design is anticipated to begin.
