May is Bike Month 2009

The entire community is being challenged to ride their bicycles more and drive less during May.

May 1 – May 31: May is Bike Month 2009

The citizens of Davis and the entire region are part of a Million Mile May challenge to use bicycles to commute and run errands. By registering at www.mayisbikemonth.com you can track the number of pounds of CO2 and other pollutants that are prevented from entering the atmosphere as a result of the more than 1 million bicycle miles during May in the Sacramento region.
