May 18, 2009 – TANC to Host Informational Meeting in Davis on June 1

The Transmission Agency of Northern California (TANC) will host an informational meeting regarding the TANC Transmission Project with the City of Davis on Monday, June 1st from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Veterans’ Memorial Center (203 E 14th St, Davis, CA). The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to hear more about the proposed project, look at the preliminary proposed alternatives maps, and ask questions of project team staff.
This is not a public scoping meeting as defined by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Any comments on the scope of the environmental review process must be submitted in writing to Mr. David Young, NEPA Document Manager, Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region, 114 Parkshore Drive, Folsom, CA 95630; by fax to 916-353-4772; or by email to TTPEIS@wapa.gov. The deadline for submitting comments on the scope of the EIR/EIS is May 31, 2009.
