Paper can be placed in your Recology Davis recycling cart.
- Staples and glassine windows are okay.
- Please remove paper clips and clasps.
- Bindings must be removed from paperback and hardback books.
- Large cardboard boxes must be flattened and stacked outside of the recycling cart.

- Paper that shows up in your mailbox—junk mail, magazines, and catalogs
- Cereal boxes
- Shoe boxes
- Gift boxes
- Small cardboard boxes
- Phone books
- Office paper
- White and colored paper
- Computer paper
- Notebook paper
- Paper bags
- Newspaper and whatever comes with the paper can be recycled (except the plastic bag and rubber band)
- Paper towel tubes
- Toilet paper tubes
- Wrapping paper
- Gift wrap tissue paper
- Egg cartons
NO —These items should not be placed in your recycling cart
- Soy/ milk cartons
- Juice boxes
- Frozen food boxes
- Paper towels
- Tissues
- Plastic/wax coated paper
- Photographs
- Blueprint paper
- Mylar paper
- Carbon paper or thermal fax paper
