In the Sacramento region, nearly 65% of residential water use goes to outdoor irrigation. Let's work to reduce that number. These tips can help.
|Inspect, repair, repeat. Check outdoor irrigation systems every few months for leaks and clogged sprinkler heads. Make adjustments quickly to prevent water waste.
|Prioritize your plants. Trees and shrubs, along with plants that have high replacement costs, should be your priority when it comes to watering.|
