October 27, 2009 – City Offices Closed on Friday, October 30th
As a result of employee furloughs, many Davis city offices will be closed on Friday, October 30th. Two employee groups have agreed to one-day-a-month furloughs to help reduce costs in the 09-10 budget.
City Hall (City Manager’s Office, Finance, Community Development, and Community Services offices), Public Works and Parks & General Services corporation yards will be closed.
Emergency services, maintenance, recreation programs, Child Care Services, Davis Community Transit and the Elderly Nutrition program are not affected.
The remaining furlough day will occur on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
