Qufu, China
Qufu is located in the Shandong Province of China. The population is estimated to be 620,000 people. The area measures around 896 sq. km. Qufu is largely populated by bicycles rather than cars. A notable fact about Qufu is that it is the hometown of one of China’s most influential philosophers: Confucius. The town is dominated by the magnificent Temple of Confucius, the Confucian Mansion, and the Confucian Forest.
Qufu has been a Sister City with Davis since 1993.
