Resolution 10-001 – Calling Measure J Extension Election
Shall Ordinance No. 2350, to Amend and Extend “Measure J” (Ordinance No. 2008 - Citizens’ Right to Vote on Future Use of Open Space and Agricultural Lands) to Extend the Sunset Date of the Measure to December 31, 2020, and to Make Technical Changes to the Ordinance, be adopted?
City of Davis Measure Q – Sales Tax Reauthorization: Resolution 10-011 – Calling Sales Tax Reauthorization Election
Shall Ordinance No. 2353, which would authorize the City of Davis to continue to collect a one-half cent sales and use tax for general government purposes through December 31, 2016, be adopted?

Nomination Period: February 16, 2010 through March 12, 2010
- Please note: City Hall will be closed on Friday, February 26, 2010 due to an employee furlough
If an incumbent does not file by March 12, 2010, the end of the nomination period will be extended (for non-incumbents only) to March 17, 2010.

Last Day To Register to Vote for the June 8, 2010 Municipal and Special Election — May 24, 2010

In order to vote, you must be registered. If you are not already registered at your current address, it is very easy to do so. You can obtain a form to register to vote on-line from the Secretary of State’s web site www.ss.ca.gov. Register early to make sure you receive all the informational materials.

Finding Your Polling Place

Look on the back of your sample ballot for the address where you vote. Or, you can go to www.yoloelections.org/voting/polling_place on Election Day (or the day before) to find your polling place. Polls are open from 7 am until 8 pm.
