Environmental Issues
What should be reviewed in the Environmental Impact Report?
- Proposed issues to be analyzed are included in Notice of Participation
- Scoping meeting June 30, 5-7 pm, Wildhorse Golf Course clubhouse
- Written comment to Notice of Participation - Send to Katherine Hess. Community Development Administrator by July 16, 2004 PARTICIPATE NOW!
- Draft Environmental Impact Report anticipated fall 2004; will be posted on website and available at city offices, library, and copy shops
- 45-day public comment period for Draft EIR
- Public hearing to be scheduled within comment period
- Written comments may be made on Draft EIR; we are working to take internet comments as well. PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITY
- Draft EIR will include proposed mitigation measures to reduce or eliminate the negative environmental impacts of the project.
- Final Environmental Impact Report provides responses to all comments made on adequacy of Draft EIR.
