Conference registration space is limited-late and onsite registration is not guaranteed, so be sure to register early!

Parents, teachers, child care professionals and students who are interested in child development are encouraged to participate in this daylong event. The conference is held at the Veterans' Memorial Center in Davis (203 E. 14th Street, Davis, CA). The conference offers many exciting and fun workshops as well as a variety of onsite exhibitors. If you are interested in presenting a workshop or exhibiting please call our office and ask for the Conference Coordinator.

Please join us at the 2012 Yolo County Child Development Conference on Saturday March 24, 2012. Our keynote presenter is Ronald Mah, M.A., M.F.T.

Ronald Mah, an educator and licensed marriage and family therapist, has worked in early childhood education for 16 years. A credentialed elementary and secondary teacher, he is the author of Difficult Behavior in Early Childhood and The One-Minute Temper Tantrum Solution. Mah has DVDs on child development and behavior and has been involved in community and high school mental health clinics, severe emotional disturbance, at-risk youth, welfare-to-work, and Head Start programs. A graduate college instructor and Board of Directors member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and of the California Kindergarten Association, Mah combines concepts, principles, and philosophy with practical techniques and guidelines for effective and productive results. Mah has a psychotherapy practice in San Leandro, California where he works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. For more information, please visit http://www.ronaldmah.com
