Parents, teachers, child care professionals and students who are interested in child development are encouraged to participate in this daylong event. The conference is held at the Veterans' Memorial Center in Davis (203 E. 14th Street, Davis, CA). The conference offers many exciting and fun workshops as well as a variety of onsite exhibitors. If you are interested in presenting a workshop or exhibiting please call our office and ask for the Conference Coordinator.
Please join us at the 2010 Yolo County Child Development Conference on Saturday March 20, 2010. Our keynote presenter is Dr. Robert MacKenzie. Dr. MacKenzie is a Family Therapist, Educational Psychologist, and nationally recognized Parent Educator and Staff Development Trainer with more than 25 years of experience helping parents and teachers solve children's learning and behavior problems. He is the author of three best-selling books.
His first book, Setting Limits, helps parents teach rules and establish clear, firm boundaries for children of all ages and temperaments. His second book, Setting Limits in the Classroom, is a skill-training program for teachers in effective classroom management.
