Movies in the Park - Coming Features

All movies are in Central Park, 405 C Street.

Preshow activities, including entertainment, food vendors, contests, games, and more begin at 6:00 p.m. Movies begin at 7:15 p.m.

NEW! Movies in the Park "Special Occasion" Advertisement

Make a memory! Order a Special Occasion slide to run at a Movies in the Park event. Wish someone a "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Anniversary" or for the daring, "Will you marry me?" Individual Special Occasion slides can be created to include an image and a maximum of 20 words. The slide will show for 6 seconds at a time during the half hour prior to the Movies in the Park feature performance. The cost is $25 per slide, with only a limited number of slides available. Contact the Community Services Department at (530) 757-5626 to secure your slide/special wishes for the Fall Movies in the Park event(s). Don't miss out on this opportunity to make your loved one's day.

Be a Movies in the Park sponsor!

The City of Davis Community Services Department is looking for sponsors for its Movies in the Park events. By sponsoring these community events, businesses receive visibility and association with this event. Benefits include:

• Slide(s) with business logo displayed on a rotating basis for 30 minutes on a large blimp screen prior to the start of the movie and shared with other Sponsors prior to the start of the movie and pertinent slides provided by the City of Davis.
• Recognition as a sponsor in all event-related press releases, including an exclusive feature in the Davis Enterprise.

Sponsorships will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Once sponsorship for the fall series is complete, a wait list will be created for additional businesses that are interested in participating.

Be a Movies in the Park Food Vendor!

The City of Davis Community Services Department is also seeking food vendors for its 2009 Movies in the Park events. The cost of renting a vendor space for each Movie in the Park is $61.00. Vendors are required to bring their own tables, signs, chairs, awnings, and any additional equipment they will need. Food vendors will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis to prevent any duplication of food products being sold.
