Master Gardener Program
The University of California Cooperative Extension in Yolo County established the Master Gardener program in 1994. Consultation topics include vegetable gardening, small-scale fruit production, and general home horticulture.
 
UC IPM Online
Established in 1980 with the California State Legislature's support and encouragement, the University of California Statewide Integrated Pest Management Program (UC IPM) develops and promotes the use of integrated, ecologically sound pest management programs in California.
 
Sacramento Community Garden Coalition
The SACGC is a grassroots group made up of Sacramento and surrounding area Community Gardeners, Community Volunteers, School Garden participants,and Master Gardeners united by a common cause: to bring more Community and School Gardens to the Sacramento Area.
 
Kid's Garden Bibliography
Hosted by the California Academy of Sciences Library, this site provides links to a variety of web sites for children to learn more about gardening, plants, and plant biology.
 
Vegetable Gardening
