Time Off for Caregivers
The Time Off for Caregivers program is operated at the Davis Senior Center by Citizens Who Care, a private nonprofit organization that has served the needs of the frail elderly in Yolo County and neighboring communities since 1975. This program benefits the caregiver, by giving them a much-needed break from caregiving responsibilities; it also provides the frail elderly with a safe, caring environment within which they can enjoy social interaction in a structured setting. The program takes place on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch is included. Call (530) 758-3704 for more information and to sign up for this program.
