City Service Rates: This bill reflects rate increases effective August 1, 2009 for Drainage (3%) and Sanitation (2.6%). This bill also reflects a change to the sanitary sewer rate structure for residential customers. For details on the new rate structure view our City Services page. This bill also reflects the annual 3% increase in the Municipal Service Tax and Public Safety Charge, as provided for in Chapter 15 of the Davis Municipal Code.
In order to reduce the demand on the water system and conserve water, the City requests that residents and businesses voluntarily water their landscaping three times per week. If your address ends in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9), please irrigate your landscaping only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If your address ends in an even number (2, 4, 6, 8, or 0), please water only on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Water use for May/June for a single-family customer was 41 CCF (100 cubic feet) Public Counter hours 10:00-12:30 a.m. and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
