The final 2001/2002 budget was adopted by the City Council on June 27, 2001. Because of the failure of Measure S on June 5, 2001, the City Council directed that a budget realignment process be initiated to address projected budgetary imbalances. A series of neighborhood workshops will be held in September and October to gain community input on budget issues.
