In support of Yolo County's 10-Year Plan One Piece at a Time: Ending and Preventing Homelessness in Yolo County, the cities and county are coordinating a Kick Off Event on May 13, 2010. This event is open to the public, so please notify anyone who may be interested!
In addition, if you would like to declare your support for ending and preventing homelessness for Yolo County residents, please endorse the Plan by emailing Bridget Dejong at Bridget@homebaseccc.org. Please include your name, affiliation, and contact information, and indicate if you are endorsing as an individual or an organization.

Draft 10-Year Plan for Ending and Preventing Homelessness in Yolo County
One at a Time: Ending and Preventing Homelessness for Yolo County Residents (2010-2020)
The City of Davis invites feedback on the Draft 10-Year Plan for Ending and Preventing Homelessness in Yolo County, One at a Time: Ending and Preventing Homelessness for Yolo County Residents (2010-2020). This is a countywide plan that has been drafted by a consultant, HomeBase, who has been working with the cities and county over the past year. As part of the last year's process, HomeBase staff has met with and gathered input from city and county staff, elected officials, homeless individuals and families, local service providers, members of the faith-based community, local landlords, affordable housing non-profit staff, and other community members. Discussions of local needs and the draft plan have occurred in public meetings, workshops, one-on-one meetings, and small group gatherings.
Please review the Summary of Contents and Executive Summary of the Plan to further acquaint yourself with the process used in creating the plan and the contents of the draft plan.
The entire 10-Year Plan, One at a Time: Ending and Preventing Homelessness for Yolo County Residents (2010-2020), can be viewed by clicking the link below. Please provide feedback on the plan no later than December 1, 2009. The Davis City Council is currently scheduled to consider the plan at their regular meeting on December 8, 2009.
