Davis Community Meals Shelter - 512 Fifth Street, Davis.
Serves:
Men and Women, with a capacity for 8 Men and 2 Women. Does not require shelter
guests to be clean and sober, but they must not pose a threat to the shelter environment.
Intake:
Vouchers for shelter space are provided during the day at 1111 H Street
(opens at 8:00 a.m.), can call (530) 753-9204 to check on voucher availability.
Shelter Hours:
6:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. the following morning (guests arrive at 6:00 p.m.)

November 14, 2011 until March 31, 2012
Interfaith Rotating Winter Shelter at Rotating Host Sites
Serves:
All homeless individuals and families, with a maximum capacity of 25-50 persons, based on location. Does not require shelter guests to be clean and sober, but they must not pose a threat to the shelter environment.
Intake:
Intake for shelter space occurs daily from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 345 L Street
Shelter Hours (at host site):
transported to host site, arriving at 6:30 p.m. and staying until 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
Open:

Motel Vouchers
Families and individuals who know they do not have a place to stay for the upcoming night and who are unable to access shelter space, can go to the Davis Community Meals (DCM) Resource Center at 1111 H Street 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday to request assistance with getting a motel voucher. These referrals go through STEAC (Short-Term Emergency Aide Committee), who screens requests and sometimes can provide vouchers to assist.

Serves:
All homeless individuals and families, with a maximum capacity of 50 persons. Shelter guests are required to be clean and sober.
Intake:
Intake for shelter space occurs onsite daily at 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., guests must be referred by a police, fire, or public service agency.
Meal:
Meal begins at 5:00 p.m. and lasts until 5:30 p.m.
Shelter Hours:
6.00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning.

Bus Routes from Davis:
YoloBus Stop for Line 242 at Court Street and 2nd Street in Woodland, bus line includes pick up and drop off at the Silo on UC Davis campus.
YoloBus Stop for Line 42 at E. Main Street and Matmor Road, bus line includes pick up and drop off at the Memorial Union on UC Davis campus. From this stop, walk west on Main (away from Highway 113) and turn right onto Fourth Street. 201 Fourth Street is on the right side of the street.
