Officer Raymond and K-9 Atto

"Atto" is a 75 pound German Shepherd, born in Germany in April of 2003. Atto was certified for patrol and began working with Officer Raymond in April of 2005. Atto is trained and certified in patrol, narcotics, and article/evidence recovery. Atto's favorite thing to do is play "hide and seek" with the bad guys. Atto is known for his tenacious work ethic and loving his job. When Atto is not working, he likes to play in the water and bark at the mailman.

Officer Raymond began working for the Davis Police Department in May of 2003. Officer Raymond and Atto have been working together since 2005.

 

Officer Hatfield and K-9 Hurricane

Hurricane, also known as "Cane", was born in September of 2005. Cane is a German Shepherd bred from the famous Czech Republic Border Patrol kennels (The Kennel z Pohranicni Straze).He has worked for the Davis Police Department since 2006. He is trained in protection work, narcotics detection, and tracking. When working Hurricane is intense and focused, but on his time off his favorite activities are eating and sleeping. Hurricane is also a playful and social dog that loves meeting new people, swimming, and playing with his toys.

Officer Hatfield has been with the Davis Police Department since February of 2006. Prior to becoming a canine handler, he spent three years as a canine helper. He became a canine handler when he was teamed with Hurricane in November of 2009.
