Mixed Paper

Televisions, computer monitors and laptops are illegal to place in the trash. These and other electronics can be recycled every day at The Yolo County Central Landfill for free. The Yolo County Central Landfill will accept these items at no charge during normal business hours (Mon-Sat 6:30am-4pm and Sun 9am-5pm).

Some examples of accepted materials include:

  • Cellular phones
  • Coffee makers
  • Compact Disk (CD) Players
  • Computer monitors
  • Computers and computer accessories
  • Copiers
  • CPU's
  • Digital scales
  • Digital Video Disk (DVD) players
  • Digital Video Recorders (DVR's)
  • DVDs
  • Electric toothbrushes
  • Fax machines
  • Floppy disks/diskettes
  • Irons
  • Keyboards
  • Machinery and tools with electric motors
  • Microwave ovens
  • Music players (MP3, ipod, etc.)
  • Other small hand held electronics
  • Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)
  • Printers
  • Radios
  • Scanners
  • Speakers
  • Stereos
  • Stereos
  • Telephones
  • Televisions
  • Toasters
  • Typewriters
  • Vacuum cleaners
  • VCR's
  • VHS tapes
  • Video and Still Cameras
  • Video game machines (PS, XBOX, etc.)
  • Other electronic items (call for approval first)

These items can be recycled for FREE at the Yolo County Central Landfill year-round.
