The City of Davis contracts with Davis Waste Removal, Inc. (DWR) to collect trash, recyclables, yard materials, and street sweeping within the city limits. Billing for these services is handled by the City Finance Department. A recycling drop-off and buyback center is also operated by DWR. ASUCD Project Recycle and the R4 Programs are responsible for recycling on the University of California Davis campus, and the UC Davis Student Housing Energy Program organizes recycling in the off-campus dormitories.
