City Council Election
City Council members are elected by district for a four year term. Council members serve “staggered” terms, meaning that either 2 or 3 seats are open for election every two years. The City transitioned to district elections beginning with the November 2020 election for Districts 2, 3, and 5. Please see www.cityofdavis.org/districts for details.
The November 2022 City Council election will be for Districts 1 and 4.
