Human Resources
Assists city departments in appointing qualified persons to fill authorized vacant positions. Publishes and updates the city’s Policies and Procedures Manual. Monitors policies for compliance with federal/state employee safety mandates. Administers employee benefits and facilitates all labor negotiations. Administers citywide training programs and negotiations. Administers city losses from liability claims, lawsuits, property damage and on-the-job employee injuries.
