PURPOSE/FUNCTION
The Subdivision Committee’s responsibilities include:
- The approval, conditional approval, or denial of tentative maps for subdivisions of four or fewer parcels which are not being processed concurrently with land use applications requiring Planning Commission or City Council action.
- The approval of lot line adjustments, mergers and certificates of compliance which are not being processed concurrently with land use applications requiring Planning Commission or City Council action.
- Granting authorization to the City Clerk for the acceptance of dedications for subdivisions of four or less parcels, and offsite dedications lying outside a subdivision boundary which require a separate grant deed.
- Determinations of violations of the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act.
COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP
Structure: The Subdivision Committee is comprised of the Community Development and Sustainability Director, the Public Works Director, and the Senior Civil Engineer. A member of the Subdivision Committee may designate and authorize a representative to act upon his or her behalf.
