Fast-moving wildfires and catastrophic flooding remind us how important it is to receive emergency alerts. It takes just a few minutes to register and it may save your life. If you have a cell phone, please check within your settings to ensure the device is set up to receive emergency alerts. Additionally, signing up for www.Yolo-Alert.org will enable you to receive important local public safety messages. 

All public safety agencies in Yolo, Placer, and Sacramento counties have partnered to have a community notification system to alert residents about emergency events and other important public safety information.  This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
