Minor Projects in City Parks

The Parks Department is tracking repairs for the following park locations. Staff are working to get each equipment piece back in working order in a timely manner. We appreciate your patience while we await delivery of parts and the subsequent installation.

Check back for updates on repairs as they are completed .

• Arroyo Park – The climbing wall has missing handholds. Pieces are on order for this custom equipment.  
• Hacienda Park – The swing set is out of service due to support post issues. Staff are working with the manufacturer on solutions.
• Pioneer Park – The elliptical equipment needs a leg replaced. The part is on order.
• Walnut Park South Playground – The bridge is out of service due to missing/broken bolts and brackets. Staff are working with the manufacturer.
• Sycamore Park – Swing chain brackets connecting to the post need replacement. Staff are awaiting equipment delivery.
• West Manor Park – Swing brackets need to be replaced. Brackets are in house and will be installed next week.

Completed Repairs 

10/31/2024 Rainbow City Playground – The multi-person rope swing is fixed. 

Rainbow City Playground – The manufacturer repairs to the swings are complete and the swings are ready for use.
