The City of Davis does not maintain a Waitlist for affordable rental housing. Please see the Affordable Rental Housing List and contact each affordable housing project separately and fulfill the individual requirements to be put on the waiting list for the site.
Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program (formerly know as Section 8)
Yolo County Housing (YCH) distributes federal vouchers that supply low-income individuals with financial assistance paying rent each month. There is usually a long wait for this program.

Affordable Single-Family Rental Homes (GAMAT Homes)
The GAMAT homes are an equal opportunity affordable housing program owned by the City of Davis and managed by Boschken Properties. These homes available for lease to qualified occupants. These single-family two and three bedroom homes are located throughout Davis in mixed-income neighborhoods. Most units are two stories, with an indoor laundry area, garage, and private fenced yards. Pets are negotiable. Tenants will be responsible for all yard maintenance, renters insurance, and utility costs, including but not limited to water, sewer, garbage, PG&E, cable, internet, and telephone.
To qualify for potential tenancy in the GAMAT homes, the total household income cannot exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for Yolo County, as adjusted for household size. The current maximum income limits to qualify are as follows:
