The 2020 production of The Davis Children's Version of the Nutcracker was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In lieu of the production, the City of Davis will host several activities to honor this classic local tradition.

Starting December 7, 2020 and continuing throughout the month, the City of Davis will be “Celebrating the Spirit of Nutcracker.” Families and fans will be able to participate in a variety of activities from the comfort of their homes as we celebrate what would have been the 44th annual production. Activities will include:

• Nutcracker story time with Ann Smalley
• Grandmother’s Goody Bag Pick Up
• Viewing past performances on local channels
• Coloring Nutcrackers and other show characters
• Past cast and crew sharing show memories via video
